The Sprint for January 2023

Our discussion about the Charlottesville Unite the Right case, including punitive vs. compensatory damages – and why they were reduced from $24 million that the jury awarded to $350,000 (apparently the cap mandated by law). We also talked about Twitter and freedom of speech and who gets to say what is acceptable speech and what is hate speech.
